(Birth name Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech)

Born May 11, 1904 in Figueres, Spain and died January 23, 1989, Figueres, Spain. 

Dalí was a Spanish surrealist artist renowned for his technical skill, precise draftsmanship, and the striking and bizarre images in his work.
He received his formal education in fine arts in Madrid. (Wikipedia)

Periods: Surrealism, Expressionism, Post-Impressionism.
Movies: An Andalusian Dog, Destino, Age of Gold.

His most famous painting is “The Persistence of Memory” painted 1931 depicting limp melting watches.
